FAQ

What are medical scrubs?

Short answer. Medical scrubs are purpose-built clinical uniforms: washable, pocketed, and cut to move through a shift — not streetwear that happens to be a matching set.

What counts as medical scrubs

Medical scrubs are the working clothes of hospitals, clinics, dental offices, and labs. They are designed to be laundered hard, identified at a glance, and worn for hours of standing, squatting, and reaching. A fashion set that cannot survive a clinical wash is not medical scrubs.

What they are supposed to do

  • Stay put at the waist when you sit and stand.
  • Give you pockets you can find without looking.
  • Hold color under overhead light and after laundry.
  • Read as a uniform to patients without looking issued.
