Shift life

What to look for in scrubs that last a full shift

A shift is not a photoshoot. The test is whether the piece still feels like yours after the third set of vitals.

Pockets that do a job

Cargo on the thigh, a zip you can find without looking, a place for a marker that is not your waistband. The Jumpsuit and both sets were cut with that in mind.

A waist that does not migrate

Drawcords and jogger cuffs keep the line honest when you sit, squat, and stand back up. If a uniform rides, you spend the day pulling it — that is not polish, that is friction.

Color that survives laundry

Wash cold, skip the extra dye-stripping detergent, hang or tumble low. The care notes are short because the fabric should not need a ritual.
